the black sheep…
i kinda understand when ppl say that one can’t get everyone’s approval when doing something. some will agree with you, some will disagree. some appriciate your way of doing things, some just don’t, and you can never understand why.
i can’t imagine myself being hated by other ppl because all these while i have been trying to be nice to everyone…i do not recall doing anything bad to anyone. so the "look" i get when i see someone whom i know on the street like i have killed his/her cat is kinda hurts me, in a way…..although not in a very serious manner…these are the ppl who made me question my way of socialing with other ppl…
i would always smile at ppl when i see someone i know, although i would make it less obvious, so that in case those whom i smile to gives me the "look" as mentioned above( which i wouldn’t know why….obviously), i could take it back immediately….
but as i get more of those "look", there was a point where i even question my own smile. there were i few times i even checked myself in the mirror to see if my face shows "grumpy" when my cerebrum clearly sent the impulse "smile"….so next time if u see me practicing smiling in the mirror….don’t think i’m crazy ok….blame those wierd ppl giving me that "look"….
( i have really given some thoughts about "smilling", haven’t i?)
anyway this is out of the main point
as i’ve said, it’s hard to get everyone to agree with you, esp if u need as much ppl as 300 ppl to agree with you along the way.
there will be some different opinions.but that is more reason to sit down and discuss to achieve the final agreement…
i can’t imgine myself being the one going against the other 299 ppl in a 300 ppl group.
the one who does that obviously have a presumably good reason, in his view for isolating himself from the others, or in other case going against the majority.
but in case you are the "black sheep", before going against the majority, defying their decisions, or choose to isolate yourself from all these in case your attempt to ruin the team spirit is not successful, think of this logically :
which is more likely, you,being the only clever one making the right decision and all the other 299 ppl are stupid…just can’t seem to understand your understandings….
or
you, still being the clever one, making a mistake disagreeing a decision all agreed by the other 299 presumably stupid ppl??
you may think that you won’t change anything not being in the group,especially in such a big group, that the plan will still go on well without you…
and in fact, you might not make any difference…..
but if you can just understand what team spirit means….you will know that it’s not your money and your energy that we need, it’s just that you being part of the "circle", the absence of anyone makes it seem incomplete…(although, we are totally fine without you…)
a 359 degree polygon is not called a circle, after all…..
