why i still love malaysia….
just 2 months stay in malaysia has enlightened me about what’s really happenning in malaysia. things has probably been this way since long long time ago….and i’m probably just ignorant about it, or perhaps i’m hidden away from the truth all these while…
well, i’m not going to go on about how i’m fooled by those seemingly true manifesto while ppl are doing filthy things behind the scene…in fact, i’m thankful that i’m kept away from those truth, which some of them i dun even wanna know for the rest of my life. thanks to those lies, i had a carefree childhood….ignoarant bout those "adult" matters which doesn’t concern me at that time…if, i were to be burdened by those issues then, my whole life would seem very miserable, wouldn’t it??
we should realise that politics is not the only factor that make up a country. we should not paint the picture of malaysia based on its politics alone..or it would be an ugly one…
there’s more to this country than a few ppl doing ugly jobs behind the scene. and those other factors are the reason why i still love malaysia….
where else on earth can u find a place free from volcanoes, typhoon, and other natural catastrophes??
we should be thankful that our country is not involved in any war…we should feel lucky we need not carry a gun wherever we go, fearing that somebody might shoot us on the street, we should feel lucky that we do not need to depend on sleeping pills to sleep at night due to overactivation of sympathetic nervous system having the thought that we might die any second…we should be glad that we do not need to depend on drugs like morphine to be in a euphoria state, as the only relieve from such tension in war…as the only hope and reason to stay alive….that is why i say our country is peaceful in the previous post…
malaysia has very nice weather….it’s hot and damp throughout the year..we should feel lucky that we could buy a set of clothes that can last us the rest of the year…we do not need to change our clothing according to seasons….in the winter in russia, your only concern is how to cover every inch of your body from the -40C wind that would cut your skin like a blade when you are exposed to them… not so much about the fashion…
the weather here is so dry that your skin might peel off, and ur lips might crack…on the other hand, rainy season in india is to damp that you need fairly large amount of thirsty hippo to keep you closet dry from molds and fungus….and it finishes fast too…
thanks to the rich culture in malaysia, we could taste so many food that is not available in other places…. wan tan mee (obviously my 1st priority), nasi lemak, laksa, yong tau hu, pohpiah, roti canai, naan, mee goreng, claypot rice, chicken rice, duck mee, satay, satay celup, ayam percik, dim sum, chee cheong fan, loh mai kai, char xiu pao, lor mee, wah tan hor, mee hoon kuay, pork porridge, rojak, devil’s curry, etc…..of course there are many more, but i just couldn’t go on coz my stomach is growling now….
of coz…..the most important reason why i still love malaysia is because of this:
i met them in malaysia…from primary school, secondary school, matrix, top achiever’s programme, in intec, some of them changed my life forever….while others made up my life, making me who i am now…my life will not be the same without any of them…
missing you guys….
that is why, i love malaysia…
malaysia is rich in many ways. it has alot of potential waiting to be discovered, in the right hands, i believe malaysia will grow to be a strong country in the future…..
happy 50th birthday, malaysia….
