Rule 1- respect the teachers
"the malaysians think they are so smart. they go to the dean’s office and complain about the teacher, not knowing how to teach…"
Valentina Vasilievna, the kindest pharmacology teacher to the Sri Lankans
" you malaysians think you are so great, having fantastic path anatomy knowlegde when in fact you people show poor knowledge all these while…."
Anna Aleksievna, head of department of pathological anatomy during consultation before the exam.
"so, let’s see how much knowledge you have tomorrow during the exam…."

.
clearly from the sound of that, those 2 of our beloved teachers did not sound very happy.
rumour has it that there’s a senior that went to the dean’s office and complain that the teacher here dun know how to teach. he/she might have certain problem with a certain subject’s teacher who might not teach him/her properly…..up to his/her standard…
but clearly that his action, probably with initially good intention, backfired. now i think all the teachers and proffesors in the uni is pissed off with us…..
i mean come on, if i were a teacher/prof i would feel insulted too if a puny little medical student suddenly come out of nowhere trying to judge my professional knowledge when he/she just learnt how to hold the stethoscope the correct way……
here’s what i, as a junior of this senior, which i have no idea who…..have to say…..
ARE U IDIOT??? WHAT ARE U THINKING?? WHAT IS IN CONTAINED IN YOUR BRAIN?? GRASS AH??
it’s fine with me if u don like it here. just leave. don’t create massive destruction and let the coming and existing juniors suffer.
you are just creating an image that malaysians are total imbeciles in front of the teachers, which we are not. and who gave u the right to represent all of us with your brainless ideas??
not all of us think that the teacher can’t teach like you did. so far i’ve met wonderful teachers who gave all their heart to give their knowledge to us.
but thanks to you, now all the teachers will think that malaysians are a bunch of ungrateful brats, and do u think they will teach us better now??
maybe it’s your luck you didn’t get good teachers. maybe their english is not as fantastic as yours. maybe they aren’t qualified enough to teach you. but have u thought that maybe, just MAYBE…..that you are just not smart enough to recieve their knowledge…..and MAYBE they are just not trained to teach mentally challenged students……just give them some time….they might work it out somehow…
clearly, to be bold enough to bring this issue to the deans office, you must think that you are very smart. ya ya….maybe u have all excellent (all 5) results so far……to give you the confidence to challenge the teachers. but honestly, your action, is definitely not somethng a smart people would do….to make such complain to the dean’s office about a certain teacher’s teaching, you can’t be that smart, after all…………
1st, you are telling the russians that malaysian children are not taught to respect the teachers. then, they will question your upbringing. if u can’t even pay the basic respect and honour the ones who are giving you knowledge, clearly you won’t be able to respect and make full use of the knowledge as well….
no matter how crappy u think a teacher is, just take a closer look. there must be a reason why he is the teacher and you are the student. there will be something you can get from him. if it’s the knowledge you want from him, you gotta respect him, coz if you don, you will think all he has is crap, and even though he’s giving valuable information for you, it will still go down into the drain for you….in the end you get nothing….
it’s our nature to find faults in others. but it’s only when we learn how to respect and appriciate others that we start to learn from him….
if the teacher feels respected, they are more willing than ever to share their knowledge with u…..
i just hope that before we could see the fault in others, try look at ourselves in the mirror….are we that flawless?? who are we to comment on others??
this was actually an incident happened during our exam session. i was very furious cause it only meant our lives here in russia will be tougher now that many teachers are colder, if not totally against us. it’s hard enough to live in russia as it is, we don need this to make it worse. i did not wanna make a big fuss about it then because i don wanna create bad karma during my exam session…….so i type it out now lo….
i’m sure many knows about it. some even know the identity of this person. when asked, they would say, "eh tak baik lah….talk about other ppl"……it’s unbelivable when after so much damage done, measures are still taken to protect this person’s image. his identity remains unknown to me. and i do not wanna know…..as he/she is not qualified to be known
during the past few years….there were some examption in some of the exams…..but this year….probably after this incident…or maybe after several complains from the oh-so-clever malaysians, the deans office decided that there’ll be no examption from the exams….so means that we had to take full exams….5 of them….when the last year’s seniors has to take only 3…..(2 hardest ones exampted)…..
when preparing for the exam, i got so frustrated sometimes that i constantly scolded the one who did those complains that led us to much suffering….i sweared i would kill him/her if in case i did bad happen to any of my 5 papers not because of my lack of knowledge, but because of the negative impression the teachers have towards us…..(in case you do not know, most of the exams are oral and u need to present the answers to the professors/teachers, which is kinda subjective, in a way)
but luckily i did not have to kill anyone this semester…..
