tossing coin….

tossing coin, as many would know, is a way ppl use when facing some dilemmas…esp when they have to choose between 2 equally- balanced-pro-and-cons choices. the coin provide 50/50 percent chance of both the choice.

"if it’s head, then i’ll go for it…." you tell youself.

very often, we do not rest with just one toss, esp when the result is not what we expect. we will throw it again, and again….to confirm and convince ourselves about the result we get. you get esp happy when the coin falls on head, and you grumble if the result is otherwise…you throw again and again, and again…to get more heads than tails.

now do you see where i am going now?

i never thought i would resort into tossing coin and let fate decide my future. i always thought i would be very firm and decisive when it comes to making choices. but how i was wrong! recently i’ve come across a situation which in desperate need of me making a choice, with quite many pros and cons to consider. i’ve consulted some ppl for advise (which i seldom do), and ended up with useless answers like : hmmmm…..make your own choice lo….do what you think is right….!! (the question was : what do YOU think i should do?)

after several times of tossing coins, i finally picked up the coin and laughed at the stupid me….because i’ve already got my answer since before i made the first toss. it was because fate did not give me the choice i wanted that i made the 2nd, 3rd toss…..

i wanted "head" all the while……

p/s: this situation might only apply to me and only me. when i say "very often we…." i am assuming everyone is doing the same thing as me as an "ordinary" person….it might not be true….so don’t mind me if you don do the above mentioned….errr.. thing…
