jogging in the park…
spring is here and the snow has melted. many people start to go jogging in the park opposite our hostel….
the park area is very big, encompassing several hills, the river, and a mini zoo. however, after so many times of jogging in that park since 1st year, i sort of have a routine track where i usually jog with my friends.
after about 5 minutes of jogging, you’ll come to a mountain edge with a breathtaking view. many people hang out there during spring and especially summer. just sitting there and staring at the river and the land across from the top will take your stress and sorrow away.
the mountain edge will be my target for first stop each time i come out to jog. i refuse to stop before that. no matter how tired i am, how exhausted or breathless i am before that, i’ll keep telling myself: "come on…abit more….abit more…..you can do it…!!"
i’m not known to have a good stamina, a good body build, but unlike some of them who prever to stop to allow themselves to inhale more oxygen, i never fail to reach the mountain edge in one shot, despite the fact that sometimes my body really feel like giving up halfway….
after all these years the view there is no longer as impressive as it was to me since first year. but nevertheless, the imaginary finish line of the race against myself is drawn there….thus, it’ll always be my aim….as long as i push myself a little harder, i’ll reach that finish line…eventually…
