Fontana di trevi is one of the must-visit tourist spot in rome.

it’s a famous spot for coin throwing. legend has it that if one throw coins into the fountain, he/she is ensured to return to Rome, someday…it’s said that if 3 coins are thrown using right hand across the left shoulder, the person will be lucky.

altho it’s probably not a wishing well, i made 3 wishes anyway….wanna guess what are my wishes??

it’s hard to miss.the architecture and design is simply majestic. i could sit there whole day and do nothing but staring at the fountain while enjoying my gellato. in fact, trevi fountain is the only place i visit more than once in italy….

(the second visit was on the last day in rome. in my opinion this fountain gives different visual sensation both in the morning and at night…)

99003_2 (just to prove that "khailip was here" at fontana di trevi)

"Approximately 3,000 Euros are thrown into the fountain each day and are collected at night. The money has been used to subsidize a supermarket for Rome’s needy. However, there are regular attempts to steal coins from the fountain, including some using a magnetized pole" —-wikipedia

walau eh….3000 euro leh…with that amount of money….can sponsor my whole europe trip edi…maybe i should bring a magnet there in the future if i go there again….

but instead of euro i threw roubles wor(cheaper ma)….will my wishes come true then ah??

Absolutely breath-taking… Sitting there whole day with a gelato in hand - i can definitely identify with that.

Wait, scrape gelato… i’d much rather have a pizza.
