a hearty reunion dinner….
malaysians are very flexible….if we couldn’t go back during cny, we’ll just have to create the cny atmosphere back here in our little hostel in nizhny novgorod…
it’s been a tiring week throughout the 15 days of cny, but we sure had lots and lots of fun….
cny is never complete without a reunion dinner….on cny’s eve, about 20 of us from 3rd years and a few juniors gathered around to cook together for the reunion dinner. we started cooking at 3pm and finally managed to create more than 10 dishes for the dinner…

they called this "khailip’s vegetable"…….coz i cooked it….but i beg to differ…coz that name sucks…
the dishes served were fried wan ton, butter prawn, tom yam steamed fish, grilled chicken, vege fried with dried sotong, fish fillet in sweet sour sauce, "khailip’s vege", lotus leaf rice, gui ling gao, stewed pork, fried tofu, herbal tea egg, lemon chicken, and probably more….which i forgot what….coz there were too many of them….
i was too busy eating till i forgot to take the photo of the food….if not i bet those photos will make u drool…
after dinner, we waited till it’s time for countdown….we congratulated and wished each other happy cny…in a harmonious manner….
back at home i never had such a big reunion dinner….and we never get to sit around a table…..so you can say this is my first big reunion dinner…..although i really miss eating dinner with my grandma and parents….
it’s kind of a chinese tradition to gamble on cny….so i ma follow the tradition lo…hehe….slept at 5 am that day…we played small….but at the end of the day i managed to earn 1 trip of bus fare….hehe
we were super full that night….everyone of us…as full as a pig…..(???)
