a sign? or a curse??
call me superstitious, but when it comes to exam, i’m taking no risk….
i believe in hardwork as the key to success, but at the same time i’m not letting go any alternative factor that would affect the success. if success come from 99% of hardwork and 1% of luck, you can be sure i’ll give my best to get the 99% and pray damn hard for the 1%…
i’m quite sensitive to all that happening around me on the day before exam…looking for the possible sign that might indicate the possible outcome of my exam on the next day…although i would least be affected by any negative signs…( and be motivated by positive ones)
anyway, the horoscope in friendster says that everything is going according to my way…and i’m in best shape for anything…well. sort of relief after reading that coz i would be troubled if the sign is negative…
on the exam day, i woke up 3 hours before exam…because i couldn’t sleep for some reason. felt like vomitting…(it happens everytime i have exam or test….sort of like to stimulate my sympathetic nervous system)….. i put on my black "battle" shirt. and "equip" myself with all sorts of lucky charm. and headed to the department early….about half an hour before it opens.
but when i hang my clothes in the cloak room… the number given to me was 44…. i said to myself :"oh shit" of all the time, the lady in the cloak room just have to give this kind of number to me…i was thinking… is this a sign that i would get 4 for my exam instead of 5? or probably saying that i would fail the paper…??…but i tot the horoscope said i would be in my best shape today and nothing could get in my way…is this a curse??
i did not give it much thought tho….
the teacher came late that day. 45 minutes late. everyone was so anxious to finish it early.
i was the first one to go up and answer orally (although i was supposed to wait for my turn) and finished it by 11 am…i was lucky because some have to wait till 6pm before they could finish their exam.
the interesting part about this exam is that i got ticket 4. it was the question i prepared for the answer scheme from the list of questions. even the objective questions were from the 4th question from each section……what a coincidence….
so i was thinking…maybe the number 44 that i got from the cloak room is a sign of which question i would get in stead of my results….hehe..hhmmm…. maybe i should have paid more attention to the sign……
anyway, the weather seemed more sunny in the winter’s day in russia that day after i came out of the building…
