things to look forward to…

many complain about how empty their lifes are, or how they do not have motivation to do anything…..about how boring their life are…

actually all we need is something to look forward to…

like for example…before u sleep…u should have something to wake up to the next morning..eg the need to get to classes, unfinished hometask, something that u must read…or some unfinished food….anything…it’s a good way to avoid lazing around the bed after waking up….

motivation is lost due to the inability to see where u are heading…sometimes is because the destination is too far to reach at the moment…..

but just because you can’t see the final destination, the ultimate goal where u are heading…doesn’t mean it’s not there…

thus, the key to keep the spirit high is Faith….the belief that u will reach, someday, somehow…

at times, we face challenges.some very difficult ones.sometimes it becomes too unbarable that we feel like giving up…but always remember that time waits for nothing. it is unmerciful, even for the hardship we encounter. sooner or later, the suffering will be over. just close your eyes and take a deep breath. probably when you open your eyes again…the hardship has passed before u even realise it…. all u need to do,(if you do not know what else to do), is to be patient and wait…it will pass…..trust me on this… even the hardest hardship will not survive the passing of time….

i have lots of things to look forward to…lots of things to wake up to on the next day….

next monday, the jpa fella is coming….and we’ll have meeting in some "grand hotel" around the town…..it’s a meeting among the jpa scholars… i’m really looking forward to it….alhough i do not know what is going to happen there…but it doesn’t hurt having some special event that deviate from the monotonous life here…despite some unpleasant rumours about the meeting, i’m still looking forward to it…although i might be cursing after that meeting……

let’s just hope that everything will be fine la…

and the other thing i’m looking forward to is IKEA is opening in Nizhny Novgorod.!!!. and it’s opening on next thursday….we have been waiting for it to open since last year…and the best part is, MEGA is opening together with it….wahaha…

i hope that the style is same as in moscow….cheap hot dogs, unlimited drinks, free transport, one of a kind interior desgin…lots of shopping complex and most importantly, an extra place to hang out during free time….

i am looking forward to the arrival of my next parcel….which is coming is a few weeks time too…if it doesn’t sink in the sea la…all my "precious" spices and malaysian sauce is in there. hope it reaches safely, and in time…

i am looking forward to my winter holiday too….if i manage to pass my microbiology exam without problem this semester…i hope to go to either UK or italy….juz hope i have enough money to go there lo….

i’ve chat with a friend once….he said that he can’t find any meaning to life. when i ask him would he regret if he would die the next minute….he said no…

well, if u ask me, i have lots of things i haven do….i have yet to become a doctor, i have not tour around the world yet….i have not tasted all the food in the world …i have lots of ambition to fulfill, so many things to prove, to myself and to other people, so many kindness to repay…i still have alot of things to do…and i won’t die willingly if i haven done all that….

and that gave me the reason to stay alive, to live my life to the fullest…..

haha..just dropping by. am wondering, if lookin fwd to stuff actually means “livin life”? i mean, shudn’t we be livin in the present, rather than the future?
For me, the answer should be no to the question of whether or not one regrets death the next minute, coz with that kind of answer which not many would manage, it simply means, u practically lived the lifespan u had to date. right, no?

cheers!

@wan ying:actually this post is about IKEA opening next week…which i think everyone is looking forward to it,no?

the others are random thoughts that just came in mind while typing it..

yes agree with you that we should be living in the present.

BUT,when you walk….you should always look in front(future), not at your feet(present) or at the back(past). you won’t langgar tiang thar way…

looking forward to the future doesn’t mean living in the future…it simply gives a reason for a person to appriciate the present while waiting for the future to come…

of course we cannot control death.but what i meant in above post was that we should not wait for death to come. my friend there could not find a meaning of his life. and he didn’t mind dying the next minute…

well, i hope he does now…

I find it quite contradicting…how does looking forward to something in the future makes you appreciate present even more? Maybe I always am bad at multi-tasking, but i admit khailip, bout the dying tomorrow thingy, i think i misunderstood you.

i cannot tahan leh when u say i langgar tiang. The “present” in the said walking instance shud be, all things within ur vision field at that point of time, including that BIG TIANG of coz. Unless you have myopia, diplopia, cerebral dysfunction, ataxia or paralysis of the neck and back muscles, i can’t see a wisp of comprehendable logical reason why u insist on goin straight into the old faithful tiang of ours.

anyway christie, i still think u plan way toooooooooo much. I still believe that the arrival or happenings of tomorrow are nothing but uncertain.
