lucky charms….. how do they work??
do you believe in lucky charms that bring you luck, wealth and love?

back in form2, i remembered giving a 20cent coin to both my groupmate entering a science quiz. i told them it will bring luck to them. i forgot what was the result of the competition, but one of the groupmates gave me back a 50cent coin at the end of the year, for my birthday or something….
i do believe in lucky charms. but how they work really depends on the carriers. one crucial factor is Faith. if you believe in it, it will work. in other words, you are giving "life" and "power" to the lucky charm to give you luck. they may contain all the "lucks" you’ll need in your life, but you will need to "activate" it with your faith. the item on its own is just a "symbol"
anything can be a lucky charm. it works esp well if the charm means something to you. a precious stone, a leaf, a coin, a pendant, a shirt, or even a pen can be your lucky charm. practically, it is everything you want it to be.
in my opinion, the best charms are gifts. it may be gifts from your family, siblings, friends, or your other half. a simple cheap gift by the ones you love and care may bring you more luck than a precious one given by a stanger, as it contains the sincere hopes and wishes of those that love you and care about you. and this positive energy actually activates the "potential" in the things that is given to you.
to explain it more logically, you can put it this way. when carrying a lucky charm around, you feel secured because you BELIEVE that it will bring you luck, that it will protect you from any mishap. you feel safe. you have a peaceful mind, and thus the ability to do things well. and when the result turn out well, you feel "lucky" and "happy"
*"lucky" is the feeling when you think you get more than you deserve, as if there’s a certain force which helped you, somehow.
to gain faith in your lucky charm. you’ll need another 2 factors—-chances(initiation) and reinforcement. there will be a time when everything turns out good for you. and you start noticing something that you carry with you(initiation). then, you start to notice that whenever you carry that item with you, you somehow feel lucky and everything seems to go according to your will. time after time, you start to believe that the item is, your lucky charm.(reinforcement)
i have lots of lucky charm, which i will introduce later on.
but bad luck charm somehow works the same way too. i once bought a red shirt for cny in russia and i wore it for russian class on the first day of cny. and on that day i got a bad remark from my teacher on memorizing a russian text (my russian sucks back then)…. since then, i seldom wear that shirt again, esp not on tests and exams. i did not want to take any chances.
on the other hand, i have one black long sleeved shirt which i wear for every exam.yes, EVERY single one so far.i call it "the battle shirt"…..it has done wonders to me so far…
general believes plays an important role too. for example, we chinese has our own mind-set on list of good and bad, lucky and unlucky things…but with strong will and faith, these believes can be defied…
